The Immigrant can stand alongside Ramin Bahrani's At Any Price as the best movie in the fad to attack the ideals of the American Dream and laissez faire capitalism. At their heart these two exceptional artworks have messages but when dissected they are so much more than that At Any Price and The Immigrant meticulously build their settings and characters' psyches to authenticate the happenings on screen. The Immigrant is a film that not only made me sympathize with a prostitute, but also the abominable pimp exploiting her.Garyn Preen, a new signing for the Martyrs this season, finally saw the scoreboard with a pivotal goal in tonight's game. He said "It was great to get off the mark for Merthyr. I am loving my football here and to score such an important goal was wicked." So far, Preen has played in nine games since donning the white and black of Merthyr Town and used tonight as a time to shine, adding "I am happy with the strike".
