All trails are designated by numbered intersection markers. Surface quality: Groomed daily, single track set. One of Michigan's best cross country ski trails, Muskegon State Park Trails is located near North Muskegon, MI. The cross-country ski trails at Byrncliff Resort Conference Center are groomed and tracked with state-of-the-art equipment for skiers of all abilities, providing some of the best cross-country skiing in the state. The 12-mile ski trail system is uniquely situated on two sides of the picturesque Tonawanda Creek Valley, offering two distinct skiing areas: the West and East Trail Systems. About 6 miles of the West Hill trails, generally considered to be the easier area, are lighted for nighttime skiing.
